Signing of the Consolidated Financial Statement

If the standalone Financial statement of M/s X Limited, a Private limited company , is signed by Mr A , the statutory auditors , Can the Consolidated financial statement of M/s X limited , be signed by the Mr B , a different Chartered accountant? Thanks In Advance .

No. Consolidated financial statements should be signed by same firm of chartered accountants may be by different partner of the same firm. However to avoid any confusion it should have been signed by the same partner of the same firm.

NO; the CONSOL Auditor shall be the same as the Stat Auditor of the Co. However the stand-alone audit report of stat auditor is to the shareholders and that of the audit report of CONSOL would be to the Board of Directors of the Holding Company.
