How to use Member's Forum

Back to Forum

Ask a Question

1. Click on the link "Click here to Post Your Query"
2. Select your Question Category.
3. Type a suitable Head/Title.
4. Type your question in the body section.
5. Enter your details. (Tip: Your details will be pre-filled if you are logged-in with your user id and password)
6. Press Submit.
7. You will receive a confirmatory mail after your question is approved and posted.
8. You will receive a rejection mail if your question is un-approved. Click here for Forum Conventions.

Tip: Your can add further comments/counter-questions to your query by clicking on the link "Add Comment". This link will appear only, if you are logged-in with your user id and password.

Post a Comment/Answer

1. Click on the link "Post Answer" available at the end of each question.
2. Type your answer in the body section.
3. Enter your details. (Tip: Your details will be pre-filled if you are logged-in with your user id and password)
4. Press Submit.
5. You will receive a confirmatory mail after your answer is approved and posted.
6. The Querist will also receive an e-mail alert stating that an answer has been posted for his/her query. (Tip: Kindly register to receive Forum Updates regularly)
7. You will receive a rejection mail if your answer is un-approved. Click here for Forum Conventions

View Answers

1. Click on the link "View Answers" available at the end of each question.
2. You can see all the answers posted for a query on the resulting page.
3. It also displays whether the answer is another member's comment or the querist's comment.

   Tip: You can directly open the question by entering the Question Id.

Pin-Up Questions

1. Click on the link "Pin to My Ques" available along with each question to pin the questions to your favourites list.
2. You can view your pinned questions as well as the questions asked by you, by clicking on the link "My Ques" available in the left column of the page.
3. Click on "Pinned Ques" to view pinned questions or click on "Asked Ques" to view the questions asked by you.
4. To pin a question or view your questions, it is mandatory to log-in with your user id and password.
