Applicability of Service Tax

Dear Sir
One of my client firm is engaged the busess of carriage of passengers by buses. Separate fare is charged from each passenger. Please advise me about the applicability of service tax.
The same firm also provides buses for a lumpsum amount for official tours, marriage and other purposes. Whether the abatement avaible for package tours also avaiable on these services.
