GST Registration wrong Jurisdiction
Sir,
At the time of registration, we have selected wrong jurisdiction. How do we change the jurisdiction wrongly selected?

It appears that the mistake is more on the part of the department since unless the application is in order the proper officer is not supposed to proceed with the registration matter. You mat therefore make an application for rectification if no formal procedure is prescribed.

In that case, you needs to go to the IT/Administration Cell of the Respective State/Central Office and explain your problem they will shift your ward hand to hand

Generally the portal is system driven. So your application will be automatically shifted to correct jurisdiction. However, if your application is pending for processing since long time, contact IT/administration cell to change the jurisdiction.

the allotment of GST reg no. and assignment of jurisdiction is system driven . in case of any error, contact the jurisdictional officer / help desk.
