A MADE A POWER OF ATTORNY IN THE NAME OF B.
B SOLD CERTAIN PART OF THE LAND IN PLOTS I.E AFTER PLOTTING
A DOESNOT HAVE PAN NO.
IN ALL THE SALE DEED(BENAMAS) B's NAME is SHOWN AS HOLDER OF POWER OF ATTORNY ALONG WITH HIS PAN NO.
NOW A IS NO MORE & HIS ONLY LEGAL HEIR IS B .THEN HOW SHOULD THIS BE REFELECTED IN ITR OF B ?

Income has to be assessed in the hands of 'A.' since 'A' is no more 'B' has to file the return of 'A' in the capacity of a representative assessee.

Power of attorney is not ainstrument of transfer in any right, title or interest in any immovable property. The power of attorney is a agency the grantor authorizes the grantee to acts specified therein, on behalf of grantor, which when executed will be binding on the grantor as if done and by him.

If grand father doesn't have PAN let him apply for the same do not have PAN is not filing ITR
