Difference between stamp valuation and Sale consideration relaxed upto 20%

Govt had relaxed the difference between stamp valuation and sale consideration upto 20% on sale of land and building in November 2020. Anybody has the circular/notification with respect to it ? Pls forward.

Legislative amendment has come vide clause 10 of the Finance Bill,2021 as said by the FM in the press release dated November 13.2020.

In order to boost demand in the real estate sector and to enable the developers to liquidate their unsold inventory at a rate substantially lower than the circle rate and giving benefit to the homebuyers, it has been decided to further increase the safe harbour from 10% to 20% under section 43CA of the Act for the period from November 12 to June 30, the government said.

It was announced vide a press release dated 13 November, 2020 as a part of Atmanirbhar Bharat package. Now the amendment has been made in the section itself.
