GST registration for a new Firm
Even after getting Aadhar linked mobile and email verified and providing ownership proof,GST department is asking for bank statement (account is yet to open after GST registration),source of investment proof and declaration whether the property is under mortgage or not.

Bank statement is to be given after GST regn. otherwise no harm in providing necessary evidence. These are now required in view of curbing fake registration

Yes sometimes if the Business is existence for a long time then the may demand to provide your Bank account details.In case your Business is new one then clarify the same to the department
