Order Passed u/s 147 without giving prepaid tax and TDS credit
In faceless assessment of reopening case order u/s147 was passed but by mistake the credit is not given for Prepaid taxes and TDS so what is the remedy . As only filing of appeal is the only option ?

A rectification application can be filed with the Assessing Officer (AO) under Section 154 of the Income-tax Act to correct the mistake apparent from the record.

file application u/s 154 ....if the amount is large an appeal can also be filed as a safety measure

in case of mistake in the order of the Assessing Officer, three remedies are possible under the Act namely (1) Rectification u/s. 154 (2) Revision u/s. 263 and (3) Reassessment u/s. 147
