A HUF firm was doing business in previous years However it is having only Interest Income during FY 2024-25 But while selecting ITR Form only ITR 4 is available as option not ITR 1
Can we file ITR 4 instead

In past years, the HUF may have opted for presumptive taxation under 44AD or 44ADA, so income tax portal assumes continuity under presumptive scheme unless opted out.
and
ITR-1 (Sahaj) is available only for individual taxpayers, not for HUFs, regardless of the income type.

HUF is not allowed to file ITR-1. Hence the option is not available. HUF can file ITR-4 subject to satisfaction of conditions for ITR-4 filing.
